Nitin Mahajan, MD, MPH, FACC, FSCAI, RPVI, attended Maulana Azad Medical College (University of Delhi) in India, and received his medical degree in 2001. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed a Master of Public Health Degree at the University of Texas School of Public Health. He then went to the Maimonides Medical Center in New York, where he conducted his internal medicine residency. In addition, he completed his fellowship training in cardiology at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI, and his fellowship training in interventional cardiology at the College of Human Medicine – Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. Dr. Mahajan received board certification in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease medicine, and interventional cardiology from the American Board of Internal Medicine. A Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation, he remains an active member of the Michigan State Medical Society and the American College of Physicians. Moreover, he attained fellowship of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the Society of Coronary Angiography & Interventions. Dr. Mahajan is also certified in nuclear cardiology, echocardiology, and computed tomography angiography.
